The 5,000-Reel threshold

Your song must be used in at least 5,000 qualifying Instagram Reels. We count Reels using your song—not views, likes, followers, or streams.

How we count

• You submit your song’s Instagram audio-page link.
• If the same composition appears on other audio pages, add them too. We count each page separately and never count a Reel twice.
• Only independently verified, qualifying Reels count. Artificially generated, purchased, coordinated, duplicate, or otherwise manipulated usage may result in disqualification.

If we can’t verify automatically

That isn’t treated as zero. Your submission goes to manual review.
